Acceptance of applicants will be based on the following criteria:
- Our school is grounded in community values, and we prioritize admission for children who meet our criteria and have a connection to the RISE community.
- We welcome all qualified applicants and will consider them if space is available.
- We interview families of potential students to assess their commitment to their child’s education and to determine if our programs can fulfill the individual requirements of the student.
- The school administration will monitor the academic and behavioral progress of new students during their probationary period. If a student fails to meet the expectations set forth by the school, the administration may ask the student to leave the Academy and pursue other educational opportunities.
Academic Readiness
Academic and social preparedness is evaluated through a combination of placement/screening tests, teacher assessments, and a review of past report cards/progress reports from the student’s previous school.
Age
Students entering Kindergarten must be five (5) years old on or before September 30th of that year.
