RISE Academy offers a diverse array of extracurricular activities designed to nurture students’ talents and interests. Our athletics program, featuring competitive sports such as soccer and basketball, promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline. Community Involvement
Community service is a cornerstone of the RISE Academy experience. We believe in instilling a sense of responsibility and compassion in our students through active participation in community projects. Whether organizing fundraising events, participating in local charity drives, or engaging in environmental conservation efforts, our students learn the value of contributing to the greater good. Through our unique House system, upper school students collaborate to plan and execute various community events and fundraising initiatives, fostering leadership skills and a strong sense of camaraderie.
Spiritual Growth
As a faith-based institution, RISE Academy places a strong emphasis on spiritual growth, aligning with our mission to develop well-rounded individuals. Our Spiritual-Social Emotional Learning (SSEL) program promotes values, character building, and a Tarbiyah root-case approach to support students’ emotional and spiritual well-being. Led by our Dean of Mission, this program includes regular assemblies, classroom sessions, and one-on-one support, ensuring that students receive the guidance they need to navigate the challenges of life with resilience and faith. Our inclusive curriculum also incorporates diverse perspectives, respecting the unique cultural and religious backgrounds of all students.

Thaqalayn Competition
Each year during the blessed month of Ramadan, RISE hosts the Thaqalayn competition, focusing on Qur’anic memorization and Islamic knowledge. The competition’s curriculum is drawn from our school’s comprehensive Qur’anic studies program, allowing students to deepen their understanding and connection to the Qur’an. The final round is a cherished community event, bringing together RISE families and community members to celebrate and support our students’ achievements.
WISE Talks
At RISE, students passionate about public speaking can showcase their talents in the prestigious biannual WISE competition. Participants research a real-world problem and present innovative solutions in a TED-talk-style format. The journey begins with local competitions, progresses to the national stage, and culminates in an international event for top winners. RISE students have excelled in this arena, with one of our own earning the coveted international first-place award. Join us to hone your skills, make an impact, and aim for global recognition!
Annual Drama
Each year, our upper school students shine in a remarkable theatrical production that they write, direct, and bring to life. From designing props and decorating the stage to filming and performing, students take charge of every aspect of the production. These performances, presented to the local community, skillfully balance humor, emotional depth, and thought-provoking themes. They often leave the audience laughing, crying, and deeply moved. This cherished tradition is a wonderful way to showcase our students’ hidden talents and creativity while engaging with meaningful topics.
