Experiential Learning & Class Trips
RISE Academy provides meaningful travel opportunities that broaden students’ worldview, strengthen identity, and connect learning to lived experience.

Senior Capstone Trips
A highlight of the Upper School experience is our annual senior trip, designed to deepen students’ maturity, global awareness, and spiritual grounding.
Middle East — Ziyārat Program
Seniors travel to the Middle East to visit holy sites, connect with local communities, and engage in service at orphanages and humanitarian centers.
This journey strengthens spiritual identity, cultivates gratitude and empathy, and encourages students to see themselves as global citizens with responsibility to others.
New York City
In alternate years, seniors explore NYC through academic, cultural, and service experiences. Students attend conferences, visit universities, and encounter the vibrancy of a major world city — gaining independence, cultural literacy, and confidence.
Upper School Camp
Each year, RISE Upper School students step away from daily routines for a weekend of faith, friendship, and adventure. The camp blends prayer and reflection with playful, purpose-driven activities—creating space to connect with one another, strengthen character, and “rise” to our potential. The program includes of rock climbing, swimming, hikes, and archery.
Guided by our scholars and supported by dedicated staff, chaperones, and alumni counselors, students explore an annual theme through engaging workshops, small-group conversations, and hands-on learning. Evenings gather the community around the campfire for performances, stories, and thoughtful discussion, while daytime offers active challenges that build confidence and teamwork.
More than a trip, the Upper School Camp is a tradition that renews hearts, nurtures bonds, and helps students realign with their greater purpose.
